Why Columbus, GA?

A lot of people have asked us variations of the question of why we chose to live in Columbus, Georgia.  You can run a towing company pretty much anywhere in the country, so why did we decide to stay in Columbus and run it here?  Well, there’s lots of reasons, and we will go through those reasons here.

My History

I have lived in Columbus all of my life.  I simply can’t imagine being anywhere else.  There really is something to growing up somewhere and really understanding and getting to know everyone in the community over the period of your life.

Weather

It’s hard to really beat the weather of Georgia in general and Columbus specifically.  The only real complaints that I ever hear is that it gets pretty sticky in the summer time.  While that may be true, it could certainly be worse, that’s for sure.  The winters are very mild and something the people up north most likely envy.  The best parts of the year in my opinion are the spring and fall.  That’s because the weather is warm but not too sticky hot.  You can enjoy any outdoor activities you could ever dream of, except occasionally it might be too cold to go swimming.

Food

Who doesn’t love good southern food?  Everyone that I know does, and Columbus has some amazing southern food that make a lot of other cities jealous.

People
The number one thing I love about this city is the people.  I just can’t really think of a better set of people in the country.  I am a little biased, but I definitely feel that way.  The best part about the people is the sense of community that you feel when you live here.  It feels like everybody knows everybody, and to me that is something that’s special.

Hopefully you are starting to see why people love it here so much and why we are running our business in this city and why that won’t change anytime soon.
